Decrease Your Food Intake Throughout the Day

There’s an old saying about meal consumption throughout the day The saying goes “Eat like a king at breakfast, a prince at lunch and a pauper at dinner.” The basic philosophy of this is one that is followed in many countries around the world and is believed to help keep people naturally thin.

The belief is that we burn more calories earlier in the day and fewer at night. So, following this philosophy, if we consume our most calories of the day at breakfast and our least amount after 6pm, we’re not taxing our bodies at night by asking it to process more calories than the evening’s slower metabolism can handle. Many people find when they stick to this philosophy it helps them manage their weight more than even if they count every single calorie and eat like birds. Maybe in addition to being about what you eat, staying healthy is about WHEN you eat.
