That’s a great idea, and can be very necessary, especially if you have acid reflux that can be damaging to your esophagus and stomach lining if left untreated. Get to know which foods bother your digestive system the most, and which are the most apt to give you heartburn. Some people have problems processing certain meats, especially red meat and spicy meat dishes such as chicken wings. Sweets and fat are troublesome for certain people, and if that is the case for you then you should avoid high fat sweets such as cookies and doughnuts and fatty snacks such as potato chips. Beverages can also be tricky for people; alcohol, coffee and tea can make heartburn flare up both because of their acidic quality and their caffeine content.
