Watch Out for Unhealthy Elements in Your Health Drinks

If you decide to supplement your healthy diet with nutritional drinks and juices that have extra vitamins and supplements added to them, be sure you understand exactly what you’re consuming before you guzzle one down. Many people watch what they eat all day long and then they grab a bottle of vitamin-enhanced water or juice and they unknowingly undo a lot of their hard work with one drink.

There are a lot of products on the market that make a big show out of the words “vitamin” or “nutritious” simply because they do contain vitamins or supplements. However, many of them also have tons of sugar, additives, dyes and other ingredients that are far from healthy. You’re far better off taking a multi-vitamin in pill form, or better yet getting your nutrients and vitamins from fresh fruits and vegetables and drinking just plain old healthy water. Remember to read your labels and remember that not everything that says “healthy” on the label is necessarily that healthy for you.
